How many people can the Talon Room hold?
o The Talon Room has a maximum occupancy of 250 guests.
What is the cost to book an event at the Talon Room?
o We have a variety of price ranges to fit every budget and event type. The average wedding reception with venue and food costs between $5500-$8500. Other event types vary in cost depending on day of the week, time of the year, type of event, number of guests, catering service, bar service, and timeframe of event. What kind of events can the Talon Room Host?
o Our main-focus is all-Inclusive wedding weekends is our main focus: Friday-Sunday, Rehearsal Dinner, Ceremony, and Reception. Second Focus, Corporate events such as full-day meetings, luncheons, continuing educations, client appreciation events and holiday parties. Third focus, non-profit fundraising events.
What are your hours of operation?
o We are available by appointment any day of the week, depending on our event schedule. We can host events as early as 8:00 am and as late as 12:00 am Sunday-Saturday.
Can you facilitate a wedding ceremony?
o The Talon Room is a great place to host your wedding ceremony! Depending on the size of your wedding, a room flip may be needed. Ceremony packages are an added option for couples who book a reception package only, we do not host stand-alone wedding ceremonies.
Do you provide Decorations?
o We currently do provide select decorations for a small fee, we are always adding new items to our arsenal, and we do enjoy helping decorate for the event.
Do you provide tables and chairs?
o With every event tables, chairs and linens are provided. We have 6 ft. and 8 ft. rectangle tables, 4 ft. and 6ft. round tables, 30 in. cocktail tables, and 300 wooden chair options. Round tables can only be used for parties of 120 guests or less.
Do you have a liquor license?
o The Talon Room does have its own liquor license, which means that we provide all of the beverages for each event. Let us create a cocktail that is sure to be a hit at your party. We also offer off-site beverage catering! If the Talon Room isn't for you, don't worry we will bring the bar to you. Check out our Beverage Catering page for more information.
Do you allow outside catering?
o We have an on-site kitchen that can accommodate all of your food needs. Please see our catering menus below. We do allow for events to hire outside catering, provided by an approved licensed and insured caterer. There is a $500 fee.
What is the parking situation?
o We are conveniently located across from the Que Place Parking Garage as well as 2 other parking garages that offer first hour free parking. There are many metered street parking options close by as well. Additional parking information below.
Do you provide sound equipment?
o We have a house sound system with wireless microphone that is great for background music and toasts. It is not good for dancing, so we recommend hiring our preferred DJ company, Crown DJs.
Do you have monitors or a projector?
o We have 6 new 65 in. screens in the main hall throughout the venue. The system is fully-integrated and connected to show the same thing on every screen. You can connect via hdmi or chrome-cast.
Is the Talon Room handicap accessible?
o We have a functioning elevator, however due to the age of the building it is rather limited in space. The entrance is 25 in. and the elevator is 36 in. x 36 in.
Can we bring our own food and alcohol?
o Unfortunately, due to health codes and the liquor commission we do not allow food from uncertified caters or outside beer or liquor. We do offer the ability to bring in wine for a $20 corking fee.
